We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting/Finance Intern to join our Finance Team for a 9-week Paid Internship Program. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, corporate accounting, and reporting processes. The intern will contribute to key finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting guidance research, procedure memo updates, and public company accounting processes such as financial reporting, earnings reporting, and monthly and quarterly closes.
- Program Dates: June 1, 2026 - July 31, 2026
- Compensation: Up to $25.00 per hour
- Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Throughout the program, the intern will gain a deep understanding of financial operations within a regulated financial marketplace and will have the opportunity to present their key learnings and contributions to the company at the end of the Internship. What You’ll Do:
- Assist in maintaining and updating fixed asset records and supporting financial reporting processes.
- Manage communications with customers and vendors regarding financial transactions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to update and refine procedure memos.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and efficiency enhancements.
- Support various finance-related projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.
- Additional responsibilities, as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Pursuing a major or minor in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a foundational understanding of accounting and financial principles.
- Some experience in billing, collections, or related financial operations, preferably within the financial or technology services industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
